# What are market orders vs. limit orders?

Both the terms are relevant in direct stock investment.

- **Market Order**: Executes the order immediately at the current market price.
    ✅ Fast execution
    ❌ May get a worse price if the market is volatile.
- **Limit Order**: You set a specific buy/sell price for order execution.
    ✅ More control
    ❌ May not be executed if the price doesn’t match your set limit price.
